8:00 AM                      Field trips are planned to the Murcthler Paulownia planting and Edendell Farms. The car caravan will be formed and depart from the Ramada Austin Central parking lot at 8:00 AM promptly.

                                  PURPOSE

The theme of the nineteenth annual meeting is Paulownia Western Style – Site, Climate, Geographical & Production Issues; Organization & Business Structure Considerations; Market Opportunities & Development”, and will address Paulownia with respect to: silva-culture, business structure, product development, marketing, and current research.

                        AUDIENCE

Landowners, growers, farmers, foresters, loggers, wood product manufacturers, home construction fabricators, investors, green industry enthusiasts, energy researchers and producers, and anyone interested in learning more about the benefits of Paulownia.

                        ORIENTATION, SEMINAR & FIELD TRIPS

There is an orientation and beginner’s seminar scheduled for Thursday afternoon from 2:00PM – 5:00PM at the Ramada Austin Central.  Conference activities will be held Friday at Virginia College – Austin.  Field trips are scheduled to the Murcthler Paulownia stand and Edendell Farms on Saturday, May 1.  A car caravan will be departing the Ramada Austin Central at 8:00 AM.
