8:00 AM                      Two field trips are planned: the first to the Paulownia planting of Lorraine and Reed Schrecengost in King George Virginia; and, the second to the plantings of Judy and Steven Cablk located in Fairfax Virginia. The car caravan will be formed and depart from the Clarion Inn parking lot at 8:00 AM promptly.

           CONFERENCE THEME

The theme of the twentieth annual meeting is, Twenty Years - And Then The Harvest” - Reports From Growers And Producers On The Harvesting, Processing, Marketing, And Current Opportunities Available For Paulownia.

                        AUDIENCE

Landowners, growers, farmers, foresters, loggers, wood product manufacturers, home construction fabricators, investors, green industry enthusiasts, energy researchers and producers, and anyone interested in learning more about the benefits of Paulownia.

                        ORIENTATION, SEMINAR, PRESIDENTIAL DINNER & FIELD TRIPS

-There is an orientation and beginner’s seminar scheduled for Thursday afternoon from 2:00PM – 5:00PM at the Clarion Inn.

-Conference activities will be held Friday at the Clarion Inn conference center.

-A Presidential Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be held Friday evening, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Clarion Inn Restaurant to honor all past Association presidents and the 20th anniversary of the American Paulownia Association. Advance registration and payment for this event is required, and is not included in the basic cost of the conference fee. See registration form for details.*
